Last Updated: June 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Miquote - B2B Pricing & Quotes (the "App") collects, uses, and discloses your information when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store (the "Store").

1. Personal Information We Collect

When you install the App, we are automatically authorized to access certain information from your Shopify account. We collect the following types of information:

  • Store Information: Your store's domain name, primary email address, owner name, currency, and general settings.
  • Shopify API Data: Catalog data (products, prices, variants, inventory) and customer details requested to construct quotes or create draft orders.
  • Quote Request Data: Information inputted by storefront buyers when requesting a B2B quote (including name, email, phone number, company name, VAT/Tax ID, custom specifications, and attachments).

2. How We Use Your Personal Information

We use the personal information we collect from you and your Store to provide the service and operate the App:

  • To display bulk quantity discount tables and custom quote forms on your storefront.
  • To allow buyers to build and submit multi-item B2B quote requests.
  • To enable the creation of Shopify Draft Orders from accepted quotes in 1 click.
  • To calculate and present B2B funnel analytics (views, submission rates, converted value).
  • To communicate with you and storefront buyers regarding quote status updates.

3. Sharing Your Personal Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share your Store data only to perform app functions, comply with applicable laws, or protect our rights:

  • Shopify: We share order, customer, and draft order details back to Shopify to process the draft order conversion in your Store admin.
  • Hosting & Infrastructure: We store all session, configuration, and quote data in a secure SQLite database setup with Litestream, hosted on Fly.io servers.

4. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA Compliance)

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA) or California, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted.

We handle GDPR mandatory webhooks (customer data request, customer data deletion, and shop data erasure) immediately upon receiving requests from Shopify. If you wish to exercise these rights, please contact us at the email below.

5. Data Retention & Erasure

We retain your Store and quote records as long as the App remains installed on your Store. If you uninstall the App, we will purge/redact all personal data collected from your Store within 48 hours, in accordance with Shopify's mandatory data deletion webhooks.
